jeff has been sick all weekend. he came down with a cold on thursday evening and this evening he still isn't feeling himself yet. so he's been resting up and i've been bopping from one thing to another.
saturday was sunny, but brisk. i got some cleaning done and then worked on scrapbooking and a couple other projects i'm working on. i also worked in my garden a bit cleaning up the beds.
today has been rainy, although it stopped for a while this afternoon and i managed to get another walk in. just north of us there was snow last night--up to 2.5 inches. too early, but possible. tomorrow is supposed to be almost 70. i'll take it.
i went to town today and got the grocery shopping done and some other incidental shopping. so many birthdays this time of year! we skipped church today. then it was back to my projects.
i finished one project for christmas and worked on another one. this one i can show you because its something i'm making for myself. i saw an idea on pinterest to put old christmas ornaments in a shadow box. i have some cross stitched ornaments i made when i was pregnant with my oldest. we no longer have a christmas tree and i've wanted some other way to display them. the shadow box is the perfect solution. this picture was taken when i was messing around with the layout.
